Pr. Jacob Samuel

Jacob Samuel was born and brought-up in a Pentecostal family as the son of Pastor C.D. Samuel and Mrs. Sosamma Samuel, and the grandson of Kalluthindil Pastor C.K. Daniel. His native place is Thuvayoor Village also known as the “Ettillam” of the Pentecostal Movement in Kerala. He was involved in spiritual activities right from childhood. Later on, he held several positions of responsibility in the Sunday School and Youth wings of various churches in Kerala, Gujarat and Bahrain.

In 1990, he moved from Bahrain to Abu Dhabi and became a member of I.P.C. Abu Dhabi. In 2003, he was separated for the Lord’s Ministry by the laying on of hands of Pastor P.V. Eapen, the Vice President of Sharon Fellowship Churches, with the blessings of I.P.C. Abu Dhabi and its Senior Minister Pr. M.C. Chacko. On 29 th November 2007 he was ordained as Pastor by Pastor M.C. Chacko in the presence of the church and office bearers of IPC UAE Region.

Pastor Jacob ministered in I.P.C. Abu Dhabi as Associate Minister from 2003 to 2008. From its formation in 2008, he serves I.P.C. Ebenezer along with his secular job in Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. His wife Amminikutty Jacob, daughters Faith (with husband Fibin) and Faiba, and son Praise partner him in working for the Lord’s Kingdom through I.P.C. Ebenezer. Together as a family, they are a blessing to our congregation.
